Attended Elegantology's new fashion-forward collection last Thursday with my blogger friends. Elegantology Gallery & Restaurant is not just an ordinary boutique cum restaurant, it is essentially a creative space that nurtures up-and-coming talent in fashion, lifestyle and gastronomy.  Every few months, the gallery will collaborate with new designers to bring in fresh fashion-forward collections while the restaurant will work with aspiring chefs to create innovative culinary experiences.  

Before the grand fashion showcase started, I was wolfing down all the finger foods on tray. Sorry, I was too hungry T__T

To celebrate the elegant man at the launch event, three gentlemen were chosen to have the best-dressed that embodied the theme of Gold Elegance representing the Elegant Men of the Night award sponsored by Martel.  These lucky winners were entitled to receive a RM200 voucher for Elegantology Gallery and a bottle of Martell VSOP Limited Edition Nuit each.

Tailored to the most sophisticated of tastes, the fashion-forward collection features elegant pieces for every occasion - casual, professional and formal, designed by up-and-coming and established local fashion designers including Venie Tee, Justin Yap, Hayden Koh, Ian Chang, Jason Zeck Lee, Joe Chia, Daniel Chong, and Beatrice Looi. Personally, I love Venie's collection that emphasize on vintage tartan prints and Joe Chia's pieces of minimalism vibes. 

After the fashion showcase, we moved our dinner-party to the restaurant. It was my very first dining experience at Elegantology. I had a great dining time because the restaurant is not all about the food. The entire dining experience has been created to elevate the senses, with an exclusive setting that allows customers to dine amidst an elegant lifestyle backdrop with limited edition clothes and accessories. Trust me, you have to pay a visit to experience the exclusivity the restaurant presents. 

The Martell VSOP cognac that was paired with the sumptuous dinner, adding the Gold Elegance ambience.

Taking inspiration from the night's theme, celebrity chefs Johnny Fua and Sherson Lian have specially prepared our 5-course dinner with some golden touches. 
#1 Air-dried beef wrapped with pencil asparagus. 
#2 Yukan potato, Naganegi hearty soup with foie gras and scented spray and wilted spinaches. 
#3 Passion fruit sorbet.
#4 Chargrilled Master Kob MB10+, morel beef jus truffle potato and argula with shoyu no.10 dressing (basically beef, lol).
#5 Maple syrup, walnut jaconde and ginger pepper potato mousse. 

In between the food was served, magic performance was arranged to keep us entertained and I got a bended coin as souvenir.  

I've a great time a the launch party. Fashion, food and friends, what else do you expect from a party.
