The trend for the crop top is not new fad, as we've seen many brands come out with series and series of crop top designs since last spring. Replacing the flattery short shirts, the look of a boxy top and matching skirt is a new trend that is cropping up. You couldn't stop spotting it on runways such as Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Juun.J, and Chadwick Bell, just to name a few.

The uncommon experimental prints is the part I love about this boxy top. I paired it with a gold colour skirt which is the closest colour to the prints. Keeping my rule of colours when it comes to styling, 2 or 3 colours are perfect. Black boots with champagne (gold-ish) socks, black clutch and gold plated accessories to achieve this polished sophisticated look.
