MTV World Stage 2014 @ Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon

My birthday weekend is sadly over but I had an absolute blast! I had a pinky-themed birthday dinner and after-party (which I'll blog about it soon) and the next day got crazy messy with my friends @ MTV World Stage 2014.

It has been really long since the last time I partied at MTV World Stage. I remembered its only music festival I went was the one which The Black Eye Peas was performing. Celebrated its 6th anniversary, this year's music line-up featured 4 international artists including Thaitanium, Boy Republic, our very own home girl,Yuna and hip-hop rapper B.o.B.

Yuna was easily everyone's favourite performer that night, of course mine as well. She clad in white and gold ensemble, singing her first song Falling where everyone there were mesmerised by her soulful voice and charming demeanour. I don't really listen to Malay songs, but when Yuna songs were playing on the radio I would sing along and not realise it was a Malay song until laters. That night, she sang a mixture of English and Malay songs including Mountains, Lelaki, Dan Sebanaraya, Lights and Camera, Terukir Di Bintang, Rescue. I was expecting Lullabies but she ended with Come Back, maybe I shall go to her concert next time.

The free flow Sailor Jerry Caribbean Rum was beyond awesome. Instead of getting all sweat in a squishy party, we very much enjoyed ourselves at the back where me and my friends were drinking and messing around while the performance was on going.
