It was a dream, and it came true on June 4th which Michelle and I have our first event launching of Mermaid Dreams Mono Pop collection at Palazzo Viva, Bangsar. I'm still pinching myself over this launch.
Mono Pop collection is designed for young girls who love to explore outdoor activities while still looking stylish. It is specially designed in a way that you can wear the bikini top to the gym as well. We also came out with low waist bikini bottom where we called it Pop and hence our collection name - Mono Pop. Apart from our this collection, Loire Lux is a new line that we design classic one-piece swimwear with a twist of vintage glamour.
There are a few very important people I would like to thank. Without them, this event wouldn't happen. Firstly, Michiekins, my dearest partner, friend, sister, and mother. She plays so many roles and sometimes I admire her. Her determination in achieving this dream with me. I know it is not easy for you to juggle MD and baby Mika. My boyfriend who always shares his business insights and provides guidance along this journey. Although most of the time I find it hard to accept the criticism but it's good to have someone that sees MD from a different perspective. My parents who give me support and care when I was having a hard time. Nothing is more heart warming that your family believes in you. To those who made time and attended our event, thank you. Your appearance meant so much to us. We promise to make more beautiful swimwear and continue to do more as Mermaid Dreamers.

We were also very excited about this launch because Urban Decay joined us to launch their Spring Summer 2015 collection on the same day. What an honour to work with such world famous cosmetic brand.
